-

Hailing from the UK as a self-made music producer and sound designer, Jordan Comolli has curated his own thrilling future bass sound. Tracks such as ‘iDONTMIND? and ?Absence?, have garnered him an estimated 30 million views on YouTube and over 10 million plays on SoundCloud.

His signature style of trap and hip-hip blended production is anticipated to catapult him from the underground scene, so keep an eye out!

We welcome the future bass star to the mag as he introduces us to some of his favourite London hangouts, his favourite UK artists and more.

Where did you grow up?

?I was born just outside of London, but I actually primarily grew up in Texas!

You?re a big fan of hip-hop and trap music. Where are the best places in London to catch a hip-hop show?

London is so diverse, there are many great venues all over the city. Central London for sure, plus there’s a lot of great places in Brixton and Shoreditch!

Who are some of your current favourite UK hip-hop/rap artists?

I really like Giggs, Fredo, Octavian, Nines, Aitch, Dave, Krept & Konan, C.Biz, & Skinz – there’s so much talent coming from within the UK scene right now!

How do you usually spend your free-time?

Socialism or not socialising! Haha I love playing Fortnite, Call of Duty or I enjoy meeting up with friends and doing stuff!

How does the London music scene influence your sound?

?I’d say growing up in America had a lot more of an influence on my sound! I just feel I brought that sound and vibe back to the UK with me.

You have a new EP coming out in November – anything different fans can expect from this project?

A lot of creativity! I personally think I went crazy with each track on this project. There’s a lot of diversity and sounds that I’ve been developing. I can’t wait for it to drop! 7th November couldn’t  come sooner!

We heard that you’re really into fashion as well. Any favourite stores you have in London?

?Oooooo, Flannels, I recently went to their store launch party and was dope to see Alec Monopoly showcase his art in-store. END, Harrods, Selfridges and of course the Nike Store!

For those who have never been to London – what are the five must-see places you would recommend?

The London Eye…

…The Shard, Buckingham Palace and of course a night out at Printworks, the production in that venue is insane!

The stunning Printworks!

Thanks Jordan!
