Today, drill sensation Digga D returns with brand new single ‘Bringing It Back’. The new track calls on fellow Ladbroke Grove rapper and UK heavy weight AJ Tracey, the force behind the double-platinum hit single ‘Ladbroke Grove‘. Known for his dextrous and witty wordplay, and his admirable self-built and independent music journey, AJ has over 1 billion collective streams under his belt. Already, the track has picked up AU playlisting support on Spotify’s A1, The Drip and New Music Friday.

The pair have come together to deliver a nostalgic and hard-hitting single, that takes their fans back to the moment that marked them each as two of the most exciting rappers coming out of the UK music scene. Fusing the fundamental themes and energy that shape a rap track today, the track pays homage to Digga D’s ‘Next Up?’ freestyle and AJ Tracey’s #MicCheck freestyle ‘Packages’, their most recognised freestyles to date. The KC Locke (D-Block Europe, Ed Sheeran, Little Mix) directed visual take us back to the set of both original videos, with the pair replicating their outfits and even the finest details.
Following hit single’s ‘Woi’ (now certified Silver in the UK) and ‘Chingy’, paired with viral dance crazes on TikTok, Digga D is firmly poised to have an even bigger 2021. He has continuously been commended for his unfiltered lyrical content while showcasing technical ability, charisma, and an unorthodox flow.
The 2019 hit single ‘No Diet’ peaked at #20 in the UK singles chart and has amassed over 21 million YouTube views to date. His mixtape Double Tap Diaries charted at #11 shortly after, making it the highest charting debut for a UK solo drill artist ever. With more than 325 million global streams under his belt, last year Digga D also became the first solo drill artist to be nominated and win an AIM Independent Music Award. 2020 saw Digga D nominated for a MOBO Award for ‘Song of The Year’, as well as ‘Best Rap Track’ at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards. The BBC Three documentary ‘Defending Digga D’, detailed the many hurdles and setbacks he has faced since the start of his career – despite this, Digga D is a young rapper slowly becoming a household name in the UK music scene.
