Elderbrook is a Grammy nominated live act, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose recently released a huge new track ft Rudimental ?Something About You?.

Where do you currently live?

I currently live in a place called Berkhamsted. Just outside of London. It has a castle. It?s pretty cool.

His hometown of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire

What was the first gig that you ever went to?

Honestly… Busted supported by McFly at I think Wembley maybe Shepherd?s Bush. I don?t remember much from the evening other than I know loads of people were wearing ear plugs and I didn?t understand why. If you wanna wear ear plugs just sit further back. That?s the other thing I remember, everyone sat down!

Where are your favourite hometown hangouts?

Right, this is gonna sound weird but I just wanna take this opportunity to big up Pizza Express. They?ve hit hard times recently and I know they?re a huge chain but I?m a big fan.

Who are your main musical influences?

Sam Cooke for his voice. Jamie xx for their production. The national for their lyrics. Kings of Leon for making me feel cool.

You’ve just finished a tour throughout Europe and North America. What were some of your highlights?

Riding round on electric scooters in Vienna at 1am after a drink or two was pretty fun. We had a day off there. Then I got a taste for the electric scooter life. After that I couldn?t stop. I then traveled the length of the Seine in Paris on one. The thing about scooter life is it consumes you.

How can you best describe your live show?

It?s just me on stage singing, playing keys, looping stuff in and out, drum machine and a lot of weird and wonderful movements of my body in time to the music.

Can you tell us a bit about your debut album and what fans can expect when it’s released?

It?s something I?ve been working up to for years.

I bet everyone says this but it?s actually really good. What I love about how it?s ended up is the variety on it. I love all different kinds of music and I think I?ve incorporated my broad tastes in the record. also it?s out 2020
